Purpose: The purpose of the license for vehicle roadworthiness test is to provide vehicles and trailers roadworthiness services. Vehicle Roadworthiness Testing Centres, licensed by the Ministry of Infrastructure, shall perform the vehicle roadworthiness tests.
Description: In order to obtain a license for conducting vehicle roadworthiness tests, the entity must submit an application and documentation to the Ministry of Infrastructure. The documentation is submitted as a copy to the Ministry's archive, while the original must be submitted during verification. The Commission appointed by the Minister of Infrastructure shall make the verification of documentation. The Ministry shall, within thirty (30) days from the day of the submission of the application, decide on the approval or refusal of the application. If the Commission finds that the entity has not fulfilled the requirements for licensing and has not completed the necessary documentation, then an additional period of no more than thirty (30) days for the fulfilment of the requirements may be allowed. The Minister of Infrastructure issues the license for vehicle roadworthiness test. The license is inalienable and non-transferable.
